The NSW Department of Education commissioned Ages Build to refurbish and extend the Performance Space in Block F at Canterbury Girls High School. The project aimed to expand the building footprint and modernise the facility.
Scope of Work:

Demolition: Interior demolition of Block F.

Services: Isolate, cap off, and make safe all existing services; relocate and install new services.

Construction: Build an extension to the existing Block F structure.

Doors and Hardware: Supply and install new doors and hardware.

Flooring: Install new sprung timber flooring and carpet.

Kitchenette: Supply and install a kitchenette, including hot water system and tiled splashback.

Painting: Prepare and paint all areas, both existing and new.

Furniture and Fixtures: Supply and install changeroom furniture, accessible bathroom items (including alarm system), new theatre seating, theatre curtain, mirror wall, barre bars, projector, and comms booth.
Project Highlights:

All work was carried out during school holidays and within an active school environment, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day activities and exams.

The project was completed on time and without any incidents.
Ages Build successfully delivered a modern, expanded Performance Space that meets the needs of Canterbury Girls High School, enhancing the learning environment for students and staff.
